The annual Alhambra Catholic Invitational Tournament is on “indefinite hiatus” according to an announcement yesterday by officials of Wamba Caravan #89, Order of the Alhambra. The tournament was not held in 2020 or 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The reasoning to suspend the tournament is the production costs involved and the hours it takes for volunteers to plan and run the three-day event. The tournament has been a part of the area for 63 years, and there is the possibility it could be revived in the future.
