Frankfort High School Booster Club

The Frankfort High School Athletic Booster Club will hold its first ever elimination dinner on March 1st. The dinner will be held at Brookedale Farm at 6 p.m. Over $3500 in cash prizes (including a $1,000 grand prize) will be given out; dinner will be catered by “Getting Piggy with It,” and music by DJ Everline. Come join us for a night of fun for a great cause. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite. New Germany State Park events

1/18 2-4pm … New Germany state park: Intro to Snowshoeing and Winter Hiking at the Lake House – Join Ranger Julia for this Park PROs presentation on how to snowshoe and safely enjoy winter hiking. The first hour will be indoors, followed by an optional guided hike to practice new skills. A limited number of snowshoes will be available to try if there is adequate snow. All ages are welcome. No registration required.
1/19 7pm …Movie Night – Smallfoot at the Lake House Enjoy this free showing of “Smallfoot” (Rated PG). Popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase at the Snack Bar, as well as complimentary s’mores.
1/20 10a-noon -Make-and-Take Bird Feeders at the Lake House. Drop by the Lake House to learn about native birds and make your very own bird feeder using natural materials. This is a come-and-go style program, so feel free to stop by anytime during the program time period.
1/21 10am – Take a Hike Tuesday, at the Lake house, weather dependent, Join Ranger Noah on this challenging 4-mile hike and experience the revitalizing effects of outdoor exercise

Spaghetti Dinner- Lonaconing

Join the Goodwill Ladies Auxiliary for a spaghetti dinner at the Lonaconing Firemen’s Armory on February 7th, 2025 from 4 to 6pm. Dinners are dine in and carry out!
Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, bread and a dessert. Large dinners are $10 and small dinners are $5. Come out and support a great organization and have a dinner you don’t have to make or clean up!

Goodwill Ladies’ Auxiliary Spaghetti Dinner

The Goodwill Fire Company Ladies’ Auxiliary will have a spaghetti dinner at the Lonaconing Firemen’s Armory. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad, bread and dessert. Large dinner is $10 and a small dinner is $5.00. Dine in or carry out.
