Spaghetti Dinner- Frostburg Legion
Thursday, November 7th 4-7PM
The Frostburg American Legion will be having an “All You Can Eat” spaghetti dinner on Thursday, November 7th, from 4 to 7pm at the American Legion Post which is located at 27 West Main St., Frostburg. The menu consists of spaghetti, tossed salad and bread. There will be a dessert sale sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary. Eat in or take out. For more information, call 301-689-5110.

The Windber Drama Club

Location is the Windber Middle/High School Auditorium.
Is proud to present “The Play That Goes Wrong – High School Edition” The slapstick comedy features a play within a play, where the audience meets the Cornley Drama Society and their newest production, a 1920’s whodunit entitled The Murder at Haversham Manor. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for Seniors (65+) and Students (ages 5-17). Children 4 and under are free. Doors open one hour before show time and tickets are available in the auditorium lobby.

Event is geared towards adults, but teens and kids are welcome. Free admission, no registration required
10/29 – Trooper 5 Hangar at the Greater Cumberland Airport – NOT SO SCARY Halloween – 5-7:30PM. Games prizes and candy.
10/29 FROSTBURG HALLOWEEN…..
Get ready to kick off the Frostburg Halloween Parade with MCCA on Tuesday, October 29th at 6:00 PM for a hair-raising, high-energy celebration inspired by the colorful world of Trolls at the corner of Main Street and Broadway.
The Halloween Party at City Place is back again right after the parade! FSU Parks & Rec Management student will have games, activities, a haunted room, and of course candy at City Place right after the parade.
And, FSU Athletics will be hosting their 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat right next door in the Armstrong Insurance Garage at the same time! Both events are intended for kids ages 12 & under in costume and accompanied by a parent. The parade starts at 6pm.
10/30 … 7PM ….The annual South Cumberland Business and Civic Association Marsha L. Thomas Memorial Halloween Parade. The parade will begin at 7 p.m. and follow the same route as in past years as it moves along E. First Street, travels down Virginia Avenue and disbands on W. Industrial Boulevard between Kirk Auto Sales and W. Third Street

The 8th Annual Relay For Life Fall Fest Vendor/Crafter show. Spots are filling up quickly with some of the areas most popular artists, crafters, and vendors. Make sure to mark this on your calendar! F.S.U. CONCERT
Sunday, November 3rd – 3PM
Frostburg State University’s Department of Music will present a birthday celebration recital in honor of Adolphe Sax, the Belgian musician and inventor of the saxophone, on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU’s Woodward D. Pealer Performing Arts Center. The concert is free and open to the public. This event will also be livestreamed; the link will be posted at www.frostburg.edu/concerts.
Directed by Dr. Brent Weber, Saxophone Orchestra personnel are Gwen Fazenbaker and Weber on soprano saxophone; Christopher Wroten on alto saxophone; Tammy Burns, Robert Godfrey and Max Partlow on tenor saxophone; and Vincent Hangarter and Gabe Hicks on baritone saxophone. They will be assisted by community members Scott Heavner, Eileen Martin and Heather Williams on alto saxophone and Rich Frush on tenor saxophone. The group will perform pop and jazz classics and a special dedication to the late Janet Stevens.

.. at the Cumberland Outdoor Club .. This event is 21+ doors open at noon bands start at 1pm. 8 bands, silent auction and 50/50 al to help offset Chris’ medical expenses and bills. Any and all funds raised are loved and appreciated. We can’t wait for you to see all of these awesome baskets! Chris has been there to support others in their time of need… So, we will see you Sunday at the ODC, to return the favor!
