MARCH TRIALS SET FOR ZIZIAN CULT MEMBERS

Trials will be held next month in Allegany County for three people connected to the alleged Zizian Cult, who were arrested near Frostburg on Sunday. Taken into custody off Piney Mountain Road were Jack LaSota, Daniel Blank, and Michelle Zajko. They face a variety of counts, including trespassing, obstructing and hindering, and resisting arrest. In addition, Lasota was charged with having a firearm in his vehicle. Trials are set for 1 p.m. on March 24th in Allegany County District Court. The Zizians, according to the Cumberland Times-News and the Associated Press, is “a cult like group,” connected to six killings in three states.
