Fayette County officials say dangerous drugs and guns are off the street thanks to a law enforcement operation earlier this week. The local district attorney says Connellsville police assisted the county’s drug task force in a large-scale bust on Tuesday. More than one-thousand stamp bags of suspected fentanyl and nine firearms were seized by officers who were executing search warrants at a residence, according to authorities. The DA says officers also found suspected heroin during a separate traffic stop in nearby Point Marion.
