Longtime area broadcaster and radio sales representative Dan Daniels has passed away, following a long illness. Dan was the voice of Mountain Ridge broadcasts on WFRB-AM for many years, and also assisted with Fort Hill broadcasts on WTBO. His voice could be heard on Big Froggy 105-3 and Rocky 106-1, doing morning sports. Dan began his radio career at WMSG and WXIE in Oakland; he also spent several years at WROG, before joining our staff in 1998. Dan was well-known as an excellent golfer and avid sports fan.
