The Cumberland Times-News states high-speed cameras may soon be used to address speeding drivers in Cumberland. Representatives from Red Speed USA, which uses high resolution video cameras and infrared illuminators, discussed their services with the Mayor and City Council on Tuesday. Red Speed USA has more than 30 contracts with Maryland government entities, including Annapolis, Easton, and Hancock, and also does work in other states.
