MARYLAND A.G. URGES CONSUMERS TO GUARD AGAINST DATA BREACH

Attorney General Anthony Brown is urging Marylanders to take steps to protect themselves against a recent cyber attack.  The February attack targeted a UnitedHealth subsidiary, Change Healthcare.  It’s estimated that a third of Americans may have had their data stolen.  Change Healthcare is offering free credit monitoring and identity theft protections for two years to anyone who may have been affected by the breach.
