Cabins, West Virginia resident Wesley Shane Haggerty faces up to 15 years in prison, after pleading guilty in federal court to the unlawful possession of a firearm. Haggerty, who was prohibited from having a firearm because of seven prior felony convictions and two misdemeanor domestic battery convictions, was reportedly waiving a gun; as officers arrived, Haggerty fled on foot with a pistol and was arrested after a short chase, according to the Cumberland Times-News.
