CONSTRUCTION COMPANY ASKS GOVERNOR TO REMEMBER BRIDGE WORKERS

WITH PLAQUE

The company that employed workers who were on the Key Bridge when it collapsed, would like them to be remembered.  Brawner Builders Executive Vice President Jeffrey Pritzker has sent a letter to Maryland Governor Wes Moore requesting that a memorial plaque with the names of the victims be placed at the entrance of the new bridge once it’s built. Six employees of the Cockeysville company were on the bridge when it was struck by a cargo vessel overnight Tuesday, sending eight people into the water.  Two of the workers were rescued, divers recovered the bodies of two others Wednesday and efforts to recover the remaining four will continue when conditions are safe.
