MARYLAND JOBLESS CLAIMS DIP

The number of people filing first-time jobless claims is lower in Maryland.  The U.S. Labor Department reports about two-thousand initial claims for unemployment benefits were filled for the week ending March 23rd.  That’s down from a revised figure of about 22-hundred from the previous week.   Maryland’s jobless rate was two-point-four-percent in February, up from two-point-three-percent in January
