Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Holdings is continuing its expansion. The deep-discount retailer based in Lower Paxton Township has been pursuing a goal of having one-thousand-fifty stores nationwide, just over twice its current footprint. Now, officials say their new research into demographic trends has the company aiming for 13-hundred stores. The owners are gambling they’ll benefit from the migration of people out of larger metro areas into rural and suburban areas. Company sales were two-point-one-billion dollars for the year ending February 3rd. That’s up from one-point-eight billion in the previous year. The company expects to open 50 stores this year and also revamp other locations.
