Cumberland resident Timothy Riddle was charged with drug possession and failure to appear, following his arrest on Bedford Street Tuesday. Cumberland City Police were aware of an active arrest warrant and told him about it. He tried to leave his belongings with another person; an officer observed him pulling a vial of a controlled dangerous substance from his pocket. Police seized the vial and charged with possession. He received a District Court hearing and was ordered held on $2500 bond.
