KEYSER RESIDENT FLOWN TO SHOCK TRAUMA

Sixty-five-year-old Keyser resident Stephen Sluss is at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore following a two-vehicle crash Monday evening on Route 220. Sluss’ vehicle collided with a tractor trailer backing into a lot just off of Route 220, near Collins Drive. The truck was driven by Joseph Phareau of Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was not injured, but Sluss was trapped inside his vehicle, and later extricated. Trooper Five flew Sluss to Baltimore.
