Saxton resident Douglas Ilgen is being held on $250,000 bond, after he was charged with raping a Bedford woman on January 23rd. He told the victim he planned to come to her apartment later that day, and she let him in, because she thought they were going to play cards. She told him “no” several times, but he forced her onto the bed, sexually assaulting her. Ilgen was arraigned yesterday on various charges.
