The death of 77-year-old Orville Broadwater is being investigated by the Keyser Police Department. Broadwater’s vehicle traveled off the roadway and became partially submerged in water in a ditch on Parkview Drive. He was taken to Potomac Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The single-vehicle crash happened around 12:55 p.m. Sunday, in an area just past the West End Playground. Autopsy results are being awaited from the West Virginia State Medical Examiner’s Office in Charleston.
