Martinsburg resident Jorge William Mendoza-a former teacher at the Rocky Knoll School-is facing sex-related charges connected to a former student. He is charged with the third degree assault of a person who is mentally incapacitated, sexual abuse by a person in a position of trust and solicitation of a minor by computer.; Mendoza is 29, while the alleged victim is 14 years old. Charges against him have been bound over to a grand jury for consideration. Mendoza’s bond was set at $25,000.
