IRREGULARITIES FOUND IN BOARD OF ELECTIONS AUDIT

The Office of Legislative Audits has found, during an audit of the Maryland Board of Elections, that people voted, or tried to vote more than once in the 2020 general election-well after the results were certified. The audit revealed that 263 voters tried to vote multiple times. There were also over 2400 “potentially deceased individuals” whose voter registration were active, and 327 individuals with potential duplicate voter registrations.
