A trans woman from Pennsylvania is being honored by national publication Out Magazine. Naiymah Sanchez is one of their Top 100 Most Impactful and Influential LGBTQ+ people of the year. The 40-year-old from Philadelphia has worked in the trans healthcare field for many years, advocating and educating the public about issues that affect transsexual people. She’s now a Trans Rights Organizer with the ACLU of Pennsylvania and also works to prevent the sexual assault of prisoners.
