MOORE TO CHAIR CHESAPEAKE BAY PROGRAM EXECUTIVE COUNCIL

Maryland Governor Wes Moore has taken over a chair of the Chesapeake Bay Program executive council.  Moore assumed the position yesterday, saying he wants the state to be a model among the coalition that will help improve the health of the bay.  The executive council is made up of members from all states that border the bay, along with representatives from the federal EPA.  Recent reports show that despite all efforts, the water quality of the bay remains a problem.
