Members of the UMD community are helping people in need. Volunteers will spend their evening on campus packaging thousands of meals for the Terps Against Hunger service event. Organizers plan to package 30-thousand meals for people in the DC-Metropolitan area. The university is also in the middle of its homecoming week.
