The Baltimore-based Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation is providing five-million-dollars for Israeli organizations to address the emergency needs of those affected by the deadly attacks by Hamas. Foundation officials say they are horrified by the attacks on civilians and the escalating conflict that has killed hundreds, injured thousands and destroyed entire communities. The Foundation says in the coming days and weeks they will continue to support colleagues and loved ones in Israel and strive to bring relief to those who desperately need it.
