STATE TREASURER ANNOUNCES RUN FOR CONGRESS

West Virginia State Treasurer Riley Moore has announced he will run for Congress. The Republican treasurer, who would seek to represent the 2nd Congressional District is touting himself as a “proven conservative,” through his track record as Treasurer and state Representative. Moore says he will seek a federal ban on abortion, and work to bring back jobs to the US from China. Moore recently was in Wheeling to discuss his JumpStart Savings program to help those working in trades; he says he would like to see that program elevated to the federal level.
