PA. COACH ACCUSED OF CHOKING REF DURING FOOTBALL GAME

A kids’ football coach in Fayette County, Pennsylvania is facing charges after reportedly choking a referee this past weekend.  Court records show Trevor Yeager is charged with assault on a sports official and harassment following the on-field altercation at Albert Gallatin High School on Sunday.  School district Superintendent Christopher Pegg says Yeager and the official are with the Western Pennsylvania Youth Football League and are not affiliated with the school.  Pegg says, while the district supports area youth sports groups, they are not allowing the league to use their field for the time being because of the alleged attack.
