The candidate who lost the Pennsylvania Republican Senate primary last year to Dr. Mehmet Oz reportedly will announce another run for the seat at the end of this month. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports sources familiar with David McCormick’s plans say the former hedge fund CEO will open another campaign to try to unseat Democratic U.S. Senator Bob Casey. McCormick, who spent 14-million-dollars of his own money in his previous bid, lost by fewer than one-thousand votes to Dr. Oz, who later lost to Democrat John Fetterman.
