The Cumberland City Police Department is continuing its investigation into Wednesday’s FedEx truck rollover on Interstate 68 Eastbound, near the Maryland Avenue exit. The driver and a passenger were taken to UPMC-Western Maryland. The 67-yearold-female passenger was said to have serious, life-threatening injuries. Portions of the interstate remained closed for several hours for investigation and accident reconstruction. A preliminary investigation revealed that the truck traveled off the roadway, striking an embankment and retaining wall, causing the truck to roll over.
