Officials in Washington County are making it easier for residents to get rid of their unwanted tires. Fire scrap tire day will take place on the second Saturday of October. It’s completely free and officials will accept up to 10 tires per household. Only passenger and light truck tires will be collected. It’s set for October 14th at the Forty West Landfill.
