Twenty-seven-year-old Hyndman resident Shaina Viola Metzner is being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a number of charges, stemming from a District Court warrant for failure to appear. As she was being served the warrant, she provided a false statement to a police officer, provided a false name to avoid prosecution and was in possession of CDS paraphernalia at the time. As a result, additional charges were filed against her.
