The Harford County Sheriff’s Office has made a breakthrough in the case of a mother of five who was murdered along the Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air, Maryland. Investigators say DNA recovered in the Rachel Morin case matches DNA from a March home invasion and assault of a young girl in Los Angeles, California. Video from the Los Angeles incident has been released, showing the suspect backing out of a house, but his face is not clearly seen. The suspect is described as an Hispanic man in his early to mid 20’s, around five-foot-nine and 160-pounds. Rachel Morin’s body was found on August 6th, one day after her boyfriend reported her missing. Investigators are not releasing information about the crime scene or Morin’s death only saying it was a “violent attack.”
