Maryland Governor Wes Moore says he’s optimistic a new long-term lease agreement at Camden Yards between the Orioles and the Maryland Stadium Authority will be finalized. Moore attended Ravens’ training camp in Owings Mills today and said he’s “very, very confident” a lease deal will get done. He added, “I remain very encouraged. We are going to get this deal done.” The Orioles initial lease was set to expire two years ago, but it has been extended until the end of this year.
