Maryland’s cannabis business has been booming since recreational marijuana became legal on July 1. According to the Maryland Cannabis Administration, combines medical and recreational marijuana sales brought in more than 87-point-4-million dollars during the month of July. The Baltimore Sun reports that if dispensaries continue to sell cannabis at the same pace as July, marijuana revenues in the state could top 765-million-dollars in 2023 and break one-billion-dollars after a full year of legal sales.
