West Virginia University Hospitals is grateful and surprised to receive a check of nearly 43-thousand-dollars. The money comes from the state treasury of items that have gone unclaimed. WVU Hospitals will put the money to good use serving those who do not have the means for costs. One example they gave was to use the money to pay for transportation for those who arrive at the hospital but have no means of getting back home.
