Text alerts from the MDTA will soon be a thing of the past. Officials say that starting June 8th, they will no longer send out texts for news and incident alerts. Marylanders can instead sign up for email alerts. Folks may also call 1-877-BAY-SPAN for up to the minute alerts regarding the Bay Bridge.
