Pilgrim’s in Moorefield has plans to build a $14.8 million apartment complex near Water Street that will expand housing options for the company’s employees. The Cumberland Times-News notes that the complex will contain 168 units, including 36 one-bedroom units, 108 two-bedroom units and 24, 3-bedroom units. There are also plans for an onsite convenience store. Construction is scheduled to begin in June. The company notes that housing is an ongoing struggle for employees at the plant; the company shuttles people from the surrounding areas, including Grant and Hampshire Counties.
