Beginning next week, drivers should expect single-lane closures of National Highway through the Narrows. The closures will occur between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m,., and are expected to last several months. Work associated with the lane closures include the replacement of storm drains, installation of water service connections, installation of sewer service connections, and installations of new force main and water main piping within Route 40. The work will extend through the summer and is expected to be completed by September.
