Joseph Thompson of Fort Hill High School is the 2023-2024 Allegany County Teacher of the Year. A music teacher, Thompson follows 2022-2023 Teacher of the Year, Amy Price. He will compete for state Teacher of the year, which is announced in the Fall, with the National Teacher of the year selected next Spring.
