PA. VOTERS SELECT “COOLEST THING” MADE IN THE STATE

After three weeks of Twitter-based voting, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry says residents have declared their favorite PA-made product. Pittsburgh-based Primanti Brothers was named the “Coolest Thing Made in PA.” The 90-year-old sandwich chain is famous for slathering coleslaw and fries on its sandwiches and eased past Schuylkill County’s Mrs. T’s Pierogies for the honor. In all, more than 32-thousand votes were tallied to determine the final winner. Primanti Brothers got the win with more than 53 percent of the total vote.
