RISING GAS PRICES IN PENNSYLVANIA

Gas prices are on the rise after OPEC announced substantial cuts in production.  Experts say we can expect the spike to continue through the summer as the driving season ramps up. Wholesale prices will likely rise back to 100-dollars a barrel, which translates to about 16-cents per gallon for drivers. Right now, the state average for Pennsylvania is three-dollars and 63-cents per gallon. Analysts say also that there will likely be another release from the strategic petroleum reserve. Currently it’s about half full.
