SHAPIRO GETS FAVORABLE RATINGS THREE MONTHS INTO TERM

Josh Shapiro is apparently getting good marks three months into his term as Pennsylvania’s new governor. The results of a new statewide poll paid for by the Commonwealth Foundation show he has a 54 percent approval rating after three months on the job. However, 31 percent of respondents say they don’t like the job he’s doing.  The foundation paid the Bullfinch Group to look at a wide range of  state-level policies and interests and how the governor’s handling them.  The group says the 600 people who responded  are “geographically and politically-diverse” registered voters.  The foundation says it’ll conduct similar surveys every quarter.
