The FBI carried out a raid on the Naples, Florida home of former Hogan administration aide Roy McGrath on Wednesday. McGrath has been missing since he failed to travel to Baltimore for the start of his federal fraud and embezzlement trial on Monday. McGrath faces up to 100 years in federal prison on charges that he stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from the state government by falsifying documents and arranging for a large severance from a government-owned nonprofit before taking the job with Governor Hogan. McGrath’s wife and his attorney say they don’t know where he is and they are concerned for his well-being. One of the conditions of McGrath’s pre-trial release was that he surrender his passport.
