KEY AND BAY BRIDGE TRAFFIC HOLDS RESCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY

Traffic holds on two Maryland bridges have been rescheduled for Saturday. The Key Bridge and Bay Bridge were going to be closed for about a half-hour each today so three large construction cranes could be transported from the Port of Baltimore through the Chesapeake Bay. The Maryland Transportation Authority says the traffic holds are being put in place so drivers are not distracted by the cranes’ passage under the structures. On Saturday the Key Bridge will close at around 9:30 in the morning and Bay Bridge traffic will be put on hold at around 1:30 in the afternoon.
