Two WVU Medicine hospitals are stepping up their cardiac care units. Thomas Hospitals in South Charleston and Parkersburg’s Camden Clark Medical Center will operate a joint cardiac surgery program. The program will fall under the direction of WVU Heart and Vascular Institute. Healthgrades lists the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute as one of the country’s top-50 cardiac surgery programs.
