ACTING STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL COULD SOON BECOME PERMANENT A.G.

The nomination of Acting Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry has been sent to the full Senate for a vote with a favorable recommendation. The Senate Judiciary Committee voted unanimously Monday to bring the vote forward. Henry served as first deputy attorney general for Josh Shapiro before he was elected governor. She reportedly told lawmakers that she intends to complete the two years remaining in the now-governor Shapiro’s uncompleted term but has no intention of running to stay in the position after that.
