Governor Jim Justice got right to it and signed the new Campus Carry bill into law. This makes West Virginia the 12th state in the nation where it will be legal to carry a concealed weapon while on a college of university campus. The person carrying the weapon will need a permit. The new law goes into effect on July 1st of 2024.
