BURNHAM ACCEPTS PLEA DEAL IN HOWARD COUNTY

Cumberland resident Jeffrey Burnham, accused of killing three people in 2021, has preliminarily accepted a plea deal for the murders of his brother and sister-in-law. In Howard County, Burnham received a sentence of “not criminally responsible” for the deaths of Brian and Kelly Robinette. He is currently being held in Cumberland in connection with the murder of his mother’s friend, Rebecca Reynolds in September of 2021. A trial remains scheduled for mid-April, should Burnham decide to reject the plea deal at a hearing, now set for the end of March.
