Construction of the Baltimore Street Bridge will begin Monday. The project is expected to be completed in the summer of 2024. Construction will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Two lanes of traffic will remain open during the construction period with the exception of scheduled nighttime closures. No parking will be permitted on the bridge until the project is complete. Cumberland’s Engineering Department will issue further notifications when nighttime closures are scheduled and when traffic patterns change.
