A fire, early Wednesday morning, caused approximately $25,000 in damage and basically destroyed an apartment on Stone Hill Road in Grantsville. Nobody was home at the time of the 2:34 a.m. fire, but two dogs at the home died in the blaze. The property is owned by Enos Yoder and was occupied by Phillip Bender. The cause and origin of the fire have yet to be determined.
