A new digital marketing campaign is underway to encourage folks to join the healthcare field. The Maryland Hospital Association and the state’s five dozen hospitals and health systems launched JoinMdHealth on Monday. The outreach campaign will have a heavy social media presence and is boasting a one-stop, career-oriented website at joinmdhealth.org. Maryland is suffering from a shortage of some five-thousand full-time RNs and four-thousand LPNs.
