State transportation officials are reminding drivers they must stop when a school bus has its lights flashing and stop sign out. The message comes as many school districts are approaching the midway point of the school year. People should be on alert for children in their neighborhoods, in a school zone, and everywhere in between. Many school districts have installed surveillance cameras to catch any driver that speeds past a stopped bus.
