Maryland’s outgoing governor is leaving office on a high note. A new Gonzales Research poll shows 77-percent of respondents approve of the job Larry Hogan has done while 21-percent disapprove and two-percent had no opinion. Pollsters say Hogan’s approval rating averaged 74-percent over his eight years in office. The poll found Republican Hogan has an 81-percent approval rating among Democrats compared to 68-percent among GOP respondents. The term-limited Hogan will be succeed by Democratic Governor-elect Wes Moore, who is sworn in on Wednesday at noon.
