Sixty-six-year-old Cumberland resident Anne Grove was arrested Monday, on an active bench warrant issued by Allegany County District Court. She is accused of failure to appear in court in August of last year, on a previous charge of second-degree assault. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner, where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She is currently being held on $2500 bond.
